Curve Master

  • This product makes sewing curved seams almost fool-proof!  It comes with a pair of tweezer-like scissors, a Curved Presser Foot, and six (6) adapters to make the presser foot fit any sewing machine.  I purchased mine from QVC (Item # F9748), which has an unconditional 30 day money-back guarantee... even if you don't like it, you can send it back!  This presser foot allows me to sew a pre-cut 5" curved block (Drunkard's Path) in less than 10 seconds!  Yes, that's SECONDS.  The tweezer-like gadget is used on the last 4-5 stitches to grab hold and line up the pieces on the final stitches.  Approximately $30.00

Free Motion Slider

  • This product aids in the process of quilting using the free motion technique and it is truly awesome.  It is taped to the top of the sewing machine around the needle; this allows the quilt top to flow very smoothly over the surface as you free motion quilt.  Approximately $20.00

Peltex

  • This product aids in the process of quilting when you need a heavier gauge of a product in between two pieces of fabric.  This is commonly used when making fabric bowls or quilted postcards.  Usually sold at common discount stores that have a fabric department.

Peltex II

  • This products is the same as the Peltex above, a heavier gauge, with the exception that one side of it is fusible.  An excellent source for making quilted postcards or fabric bowls.  Usually sold at common discount stores that have a fabric department.

Wonder-Under

  •  This product makes button-hole (or blanket stitch) appliqué a  walk in the park!  It is a double-sided fusible product that is very lightweight.  This can not only be used in quiltmaking, it can also be used in other generic sewing projects (such as hemming garments).  Made by Pellon; approximately $0.37 a yard makes this an excellent bargain.
