Some of the projects referenced from this site state that they require a specific sewing machine to make them. That is not true. You can use any sewing machine that has decorative stitches and/or embroidery features. Or, you can do hand embroidery.   Also, some projects may state that you should purchase certain products from a specific site, when you can actually purchase the same product anywhere... or even substitute another product.
