Hello and welcome to the premier
edition of the Quilting With A Passion! newsletter. I would
like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for subscribing. I
am very pleased with the response that I've received in regards to
this newsletter. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks as I hammer
out the details for some upcoming projects that I have in mind.
There are numerous things I'd like
to share with you in the future: Updates on my quilting Web site,
reviews of other quilting sites and/or books, the release of an
exclusive quilt pattern (paper-pieced, pieced, appliqué, etc.) each
month for all of you, contests with prizes, and much more!
«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤» MYSTERY PROJECT «¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»§«¤»¥«¤»«¤»¥
Within the next two weeks, a
mystery project is going to be unveiled. I am very excited about it!
Although the mystery is going to be available to anyone, only
subscribers gets the "assignments" a week before everyone
else.
Those that plan on participating in
this should send me e-mail to let me know. The first 20 people to let
me know receives a piece of gorgeous fabric that will be used in the
mystery. As I announced on the forum, the
completed project will be something
very useful and it will look as though you spent tons of time making
it, rather than the few hours it requires.
The mystery project finishes by
Thanksgiving; just in time to start the Christmas holidays! If you're

Interested in free patterns? If so,
be sure to check out http://quiltingpassion.com/freepats.html for
hundreds of links to free patterns all over the Internet. I've spent a
substantial amount of time (and sorely neglected housework, but I bet
none of you identify with that!) putting these pages together so that
you have, at your fingertips, all of the patterns your little heart
desires. OK, maybe not. But, there are enough to keep your printer
humming for quite some time. I've added more than 100 new links within
the last few hours; mostly on the free paper-piecing page. Watch for
at least 500 more links to free patterns to be added within the next
week! If you have a favorite pattern that I don't have listed, feel
free to send me your suggestion. The more the merrier.

will have it's own Web site soon. I purchased quiltingwithapassion.com
and also quiltingpassion.com so that I can move everything over. What
started as a hobby with very little traffic has blossomed into
something truly amazing. I'm quite happy with it! I'll keep everyone
posted on the progress of this. I just installed a new server tonight
and hope to have it Web-ready within a few days.

Well, time to close. Be thinking
about Christmas fabric if you're going to participate in the Mystery
Quilt. If you don't celebrate Christmas for one reason or the other,
you can substitute another holiday.
