Are you looking for a simple appliqué block to represent winter? If so, this is perfect. It is an 8" block that can be made into a small wallhanging or, if you make multiple blocks, can be a larger wallhanging, a table runner, or even a quilt.
There are four pattern pages (sizes from your computer may need to be adjusted when printed in order to get an 8" block) and keep in mind that if you do not reverse draw these, your finished block will be going in the opposite direction than the one shown:
