Block
10

-
Print one (1)
copy of the current pattern. Each pattern should
measure 6.5", unfinished.
It is extremely important
that each block in this 12 block series be printed the same
size. If sizes are inconsistent, the quilt top will not go
together easily.
-
Paper-piece
each block using any fabric selections that you like. Be sure to sew the units in the "ABC"
and/or "123" order.
Sew A1 to A2, then
sew A3 onto A2, etc. Sew B1 to B2, etc. Sew C1 to C2,
etc. Lastly, sew A to B, then add C, etc. In other
words, sew the pieces into units first, then sew the units into
the mini-block.
Use a fabric with a theme
for the largest sections. This would provide an opportunity
to "showcase" the theme.
-
Press each
block flat. It measures 6.5" x 6.5" at this
point.
-
Do not remove
the foundation from this block.
-
Set this block
aside until all 12 blocks in this project are complete.
For a different look, how about these setting samples?
Experiment with sashings and/or rotation of blocks!

Have fun!
