Notes:

  1. If printing these pages on a printer and you notice the edges to the right are cut off, then adjust your printer settings so that it prints "landscape" rather than "portrait".

  2. When printing, the border to the left will not print on paper. 

  3. To only print a specific section of this page, first use your mouse to highlight (by holding the left button down and dragging your mouse) the area you wish to print, then click on File, then select Print, then select Selection.

  4. Be sure to read the guidelines at the bottom of this page.

     Do you need a quick baby quilt?  Do you have a few scraps to get rid of?  Do you have an itch for another mystery from?  If you answered "Yes" to all of these, then this is the project for you!

    Making the Blocks

     There are 25 blocks in this quilt.  Using the HST made in the last section and also using the remaining squares that were cut, refer to the chart below to see how many of each block pictured are needed.

     It is important to watch the placement of the HST in these blocks.  Make absolutely certain that the HST are located in the correct position and that they are facing the same direction as the picture shown.

     All of the blocks above are simple nine-patches, except for blocks 1, 4, 5, 11, and 12.

     Once the blocks are made, press them flat.  Each of the nine-patches should measure 9.5" x 9.5" and the remainder of the blocks should measure 6.5" x 9.5".

     You should have a total of 25 blocks; 15 of which are nine-patches and the remaining 10 are six-patches.
